1. Parties and Scope
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between Kahraman Ertan ("Site Owner"), the owner of the website at kahramanertan.com ("Site"), and any natural or legal person visiting or using the Site ("User"). By accessing the Site, every User is deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.
2. Description of the Service
The Site is a personal-corporate presentation platform providing information about Kahraman Ertan's professional background, experience, service areas and companies. The main functions offered through the Site are:
- Viewing informational content,
- Sending messages via the contact form,
- Subscribing to the e-mail newsletter,
- Accessing content in Turkish and English.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All content and elements on the Site — including but not limited to texts, images, logos, designs, software code, trademarks and domain names — are protected under the Turkish Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works (No. 5846) and the Industrial Property Law (No. 6769), and are owned by the Site Owner.
Site content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, processed or used commercially without the written permission of the Site Owner. Short quotations with proper attribution are exempt.
4. User Obligations
While using the Site, the User agrees to:
- Comply with all applicable legislation and these Terms,
- Provide accurate and current information in the contact form and newsletter subscription,
- Refrain from any interference that could harm the operation of the Site (viruses, bots, automated data harvesting, excessive requests, etc.),
- Not send messages that violate third-party rights or contain insults, threats or spam,
- Not attempt to bypass the Site's security measures.
5. Limitation of Liability
The information on the Site is for general information purposes and is provided "as is". While the Site Owner takes utmost care regarding the currency, accuracy and completeness of the content, the Site Owner cannot be held liable — to the maximum extent permitted by law — for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of this information.
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site is not guaranteed. Access may be temporarily suspended due to technical maintenance, updates or force majeure.
6. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. kahramanholding.com, social media platforms). The relevant third parties are responsible for the content and privacy practices of those sites; the Site Owner has no control over and accepts no responsibility for them.

The Site Owner reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The current version is always published on this page and enters into force on the date of publication. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Gaziantep have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.

Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

1. Data Controller
Pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Kahraman Ertan ("Data Controller") within the scope described below.

Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Processing being necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e),
- Legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f),
- Your explicit consent with respect to the newsletter subscription (Art. 5/1).
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is not shared with third parties except for legal obligations, is not transferred abroad, and is not sold for commercial purposes. It may only be shared with authorized public institutions upon their lawful requests. Within the scope of website hosting services, data may be technically stored on the service provider's servers.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and, in any case, for the statute of limitations periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of this period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your e-mail address is removed from the subscriber list.
7. Your Rights under the KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the Data Controller you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request deletion or destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- Request that correction/deletion operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Object to a result arising against you due to analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
8. Application Method
You can submit your requests regarding the above rights via the contact form. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on its nature.
